OUR SEAFOOD JOURNEY

The Fish Shop is a family-owned business that started in 2009 with a passion for seafood. We began as an export wholesaler to Zimbabwe, using a small truck and three chest freezers. In 2012, we opened our first retail store in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

In 2014 the love of food got the better of us and we opened up a second retail store along with a Seafood Takeaway in the suburb of Hillside in Bulawayo, the very first of its kind!

In 2016, we ventured into South Africa and opened The Fish Shop SA. It has been an amazing journey so far, with many challenges and opportunities. We love our Fish Shop Family and we are grateful for their support and loyalty. We are not a franchise, so you can always expect personal service and quality meals from us. We have one store in Pierre Van Ryneveld, Centurion, and we have plans to grow more in the future.

We offer generous portions of the finest quality seafood, cooked with love and care. You can choose to have your seafood fried with our signature batter and homemade tartar sauce or grilled with our creamy lemon butter sauce with a touch of garlic.

We welcome you with a smile and the warm South African hospitality. We use fresh potatoes and vegetables from local sources to make delicious salads and chips, just the way you like them.
